Throughout the activities of the youth exchange, special attention will be paid to obtaining knowledge through informal learning methods. Informal learning methods will take various forms throughout the activity through various methods, some of which will be:

  • Research is carried out both through online research and through interviews with relevant organizations and people. This will be used throughout the project both in research and understanding of the EU, the situation with fake news, and in areas and ways of civic engagement.
  • Formation of critical thinking, critical questions and critical discussions. This will also be used throughout the project as a follow-up part of the research method. It will encourage participants to always ask the question: what are the consequences of discrimination? How can I protect myself from intolerance and violent treatment? How can the youth community of participant countries prevent discrimination? A critical approach will be appropriate for a joint search for answers. This will be a critical approach to the research that will be found, but also to each other when discussing. It will be a way to challenge each other's understanding and thinking.
  • Storytelling/communication using creative materials. Participants will be asked to use the online platform they have created to share their own thoughts and stories that they will encounter during the youth exchange. It will present the materials and knowledge of several people with different talents in performing creative work. It will be up to participants to find their own story and a way to tell it, but help, guidance, and workshops on generating ideas will be provided during the youth exchange.
  • Another method that will be used throughout the youth exchange is to create collaboration both in small groups and in the General group. The online platform that will be created as part of the project is a product that should include and integrate all participants. Therefore, most of the training in the youth exchange will depend on a collaboration workshop that will allow participants to learn to listen, be inclusive and constructive.

The main methods on which our program is based are ART Therapy, dance and theatrical activities. This, according to our method, is the most effective method when working with teenagers, as well as when working with such topics.
